sadly, this update pack NOT working for ANADIUS version.
Yes, had to delete THE SIMS 4 COTTAGE LIVING UPDATE V1.77.146.1030-ANADIUS and reinstall CODEX version base game, before install this update.

can somebody tell me how to install the update?
Would be nice to just get a cracked update that doesn’t need Cottage, the game has bugs they fixed after Snowy Escape but there’s no way to patch the game without getting the new dlc, at least not from Codex, ANADIUS has some kind of updater, but when I used it, it caused the game to ctd whenever I’d save and exit.
Codex doesn’t just focus on the Sims, Codex is busy with tons of new games while ANADIUS seems to focus primarily on the Sims, so it takes Codex a little more time to get out new updates, like the latest, which ANADIUS already did an update for, but it does have the crash on exit issue many of his or her update usually cause. Best to just wait until Codex does the latest update, unless Codex plans on just waiting for the next expansion, which is actually allegedly due out in October, forgot what the theme of the next expansion is, its romance themed I believe. I’m thinking it’ll be kind of like Hot Date for the Sims 1. They are bringing back the romantic dancing stuff, which they for whatever reason removed from the base game despite 2-3 having it from the start, and Sacrifical already made a mod that adds slow dancing back, but the animation isn’t aligned that well so EA’s will probably look a lot better. .

I tried to the file again but still the same…
I’ve been trying to the update file but when the link takes me to filecrypt, it’s only allowing me to a .dlc file called “45ac50e20359dd72973d44fbc5e5bc266827d3b4.dlc”, which I’m unable to open of course. Everything else the link leads to is a bunch of .rar files that don’t seem to have anything to do with the file in question. The basegame worked fine to so I’m having a hard time figuring the issue out. :”)
Try ing one of those sketchy .rar files, I had the same problem and it seems theyre the way to go. I just dont know what to do next, how do you install the update now?:,)
The .rar file does not have any .exe in it, only a bunch of .incl.dlc.r00.
Update in this, these files were malware according to my scan. I recommend to use PirateBay instead, where I had no issues.
