@stavros Had the same trouble. Found out – you have to delete folder C:\s\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\ForzaHorizon5
Then the game starts anew, and everything is running OK offline. Unfortunately, they included anti-cheat with the new updates, so no more unlock cars, Freeze AI or money cheats(.
Do you mean all trainers won’t work?
I did, I deleted everything from the old install (savegame, AppData/Local, Goldberg folder etc.). It still crashes on startup. 🙁
You had to restore the files that windows defender deleted. ForzaHorizon5_loader.exe and OfflineFix64.dll.
I have same issue.
Already removed files from AppData, not using msi afterburner or any antywirus.

I have Defender disabled and it didn’t touch the ForzaHorizon5_loader.exe.
However there is no OfflineFix64.dll !!!
Where should that be? In thegame folder? It definitely was not removed by defender.

OK I found OfflineFix64.dll in /steam/ subfolder. Now I copied everything from /steam to the parent game folder. Still doesn’T work.
