You are one of the three survivors of the slaughter of Castagath. Rescued by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock, you were drafted into the Republic’s Army of the Purifiers at a very young age to be trained in the military academy and become perfect soldiers against the supernatural. You also had the chance to benefit from Heimlock’s occasional advice and training, which led you and your childhood friends, Valeria and Edric, to be called the “Children of Heimlock”.
Recently, the Brotherhood of Dawn has infiltrated the Crimson Keep, a mysterious republican fortress lost among the northern deserts known as the Red wastes. While the purpose of the attack was unclear, the republican Senate voted a retaliation act against all known locations of the Brotherhood.
Led by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock himself, troops are soon deployed on the Coast of wrecks, near the city state of Stormfall, to terminate a camp of Brothers. You are, with your two childhood friends, part of operation Dawnbane, under the supervision of Justicar Maëlys.

How do i install the update? There are several files (zip) within the initial zip file (the update one) and i’m wondering wheter if i should copy them all one by one or specific only.
Thanks for the update, it’s working perfectly so far.
Installation guide: extract the update zip file using the “extract here” option, open the folder, you will see several zips with the same name but only extract the first using also “extract here”, open the Update folder within that folder, run Setup.exe, tick the Copy files from Update folder to game folder, hit install and you should be done.

guys care, if you install the update, you lose your progress in story mode.
you keep your items and your level and skills etc, but the game starts in chapter 1 again and you have to play through it once more, what is a bit boring because you obv are overpowered now.
For those having the problem of starting in Act 1 again try this:
Go to : C:\s\xxxx\Saved Games\wolcen\savegames\characters
Open XXXX.json (XXX=your character name)
Go to :

Change INTRO_Quest1 with “ACTX_QuestX” where X is the number of the Act and Quest you played.

When I try to extract, it gives me an error saying sc6842-WLOMUpd1020.r00 file is missing. I can only get one .rar file that is ~29-30MB. Please help. I searched google for sc6842-WLOMUpd1020.r00 and nothing.

Has anyone managed to play multiplayer? using programs like R etc, me and my friend are trying but we get different kinds of Steam errors when we try to go online mode to be able to send friend invites etc when we are connected to the same server on r, or could you guys perhaps look into this and try to release an update for it? Would be much appreciated.

You need to have Steam running in order to play this version of the game. wolcen
u didnt use crack and if u did ur AV removed crack its in ur AV quarantine check its there and restore files,dont use Windows defender and if u do exclude ur folder where u install ur games,dont install games in default folder coz its most protected folder in Windows ,windows defender can periodicly scan even if its OFF so dont use it chage it,also if u dont wanna lose ur saves in future it would be good to exclude ur Documents,/name/save game and /public/public documents.Ur problem is Crack is removed!
